Life With Max

...Amazing how your life can change so much overnight.  We thought life was good before but now it is just that much better with our new addition - we are full of love over here.  Max is approaching his 1 month birthday and I think that he is settling in quite nicely.

Carmon and I are adjusting to the lack of sleep and instead of dreaming about sleeping in, I am savoring the afternoon naps snuggled up with Max.

Diaper changes are now a breeze.  We have had a few scary moments reminding us to make it quick and keep our mouths closed!

Did you know that infants can toot just like adults?  My mom said that he must take after his grandfather (sorry dad!)

Bath time is not fun.  Max hates being naked and cold.

'Going out' has consisted of 4 doctor's appointments and a couple of hurried grocery runs.

Our once tidy house has become a slightly disheveled home with blankets draped over all of our impractical (but lovely) ivory furniture, nursing pillow tossed on the floor, bibs, washcloths, soothers on every surface, beds unmade so that we can crawl in at any moment throughout the day...

Lots of changes!  We are looking forward to spring and can't wait to start meeting other playmates, getting out and about in the city again and enjoying the fresh air.  We are loving keeping everyone in the loop as Max continues to grow and are loving the comments and well wishes.

What a gorgeous little man. The more he grows the more he changes. He's definetly took the best traits and qualities from mommy and daddy. I cannot wait to meet my nephew. I'm so happy for the two of you. Hugs and kisses for everyone. Love you guys and missing you more and more each day.

I love that you keep us posted with little tidbits and pictures!! Max is just too cute but I am sure even cuter in real life. I know the feeling of sleeping when the baby sleeps take advantage and he will find a routine soon enough!! Keep the pic's and stories coming. Its all that we out West get for now!! And the messy house as long as it is tidy (things thrown out of site) when company comes no one will ever know!!! LOL
Give him lots of snuggles.
Take care
